Not too bad. Hopefully we'll be moving up on the list in the future.

I was going to post this, Brad. Thanks!

I'm happy we're on the list at all, and I definitely hope we continue to climb. I was surprised that the little summary didn't mention the development of the on-street bike network, or the mayor's cycling and pedestrian commission.

Of TREMENDOUS note, Portland was dethroned as the number 1 bike city in the USA. Congratulations Minneapolis! What a wonderful example of a Midwestern city making cycling a huge priority.

I finally rode to work today for the first time of the year.

1. 6:00 AM Left the area of 52 and Center
2. Rode west on center to Aksarben Village. This area of the ride was not fun. Rough roads, bad sidewalks, just a mess.
3. Aksarben Village to the Keystone Trail at Mercy Road trail was great. New trail through Arkarben Village.
4. 6:20 AM Reached Q Street near Horsemans Park where I crossed to the other side of the Creek to the Big Papio Trail and headed north west.
5. 6:30 Reached 84th Street near Fredrick Square/Westgate.
6. 6:40 Missed my exit at pacific street oops!
7. 6:45 Reached west dodge frontage road where there is no frickin exit or sidewalk. Walked my bike through the wet grass up to Grisanti's parking lot, through the streets to 114th and davenport. Why is there no sidewalk in this area?
8. 7:00 Got to work near 120th and Dodge.

All and all not a bad trip, my bike and myself were muddy when I go here! A lot of Goose poop all over the trail too.

Way to go, Brad. Thanks for detailing your commute for us!

It's really frustrating to find streets and sidewalks in ill repair, or non-existent connections where they should be.

I didn't realize you lived around 50th and Center.
