I don't buy fireworks, but I guess if you do, you better take 29, not Nebraska highways.

Ticket dims trip for fireworks

Sarah Reinecke WORLD-HERALD STAFF WRITER wrote:AUBURN, Neb. — Salesman Terry Moore just wanted to buy fireworks as a favor to his son-in-law.

It may wind up costing him $248. And he returned home to Lincoln empty-handed.

Three brown paper sacks filled with $100 worth of fireworks were confiscated from his car Wednesday at a checkpoint east of Auburn on U.S. Highway 136.

His ticket totaled $148, including court costs.

Moore was one of two people ticketed on suspicion of fireworks violations during the two-hour vehicle check by the State Patrol and State Fire Marshal's Office.
HERE IS THE KEY

People (especially those from Omaha) are idiots if they don't stick to the interstate. And if you don't, make sure your car is in perfect order, drive according to the laws and put them in a trunk. If they ask to look in your trunk, kindly decline their offer.

Ah, yes... the annual border crossing and contraband smuggling pilgrimage.

What part of "illegal" don't you people understand?

That's about it. That and I don't feel like kneeling down, standing up and running and repeating those unnecessary actions over and over and over all night when its 100 degrees out!

I plan on photographing all three professional displays this weekend, that more fun than blowing stuff up.

So what fireworks company is doing the "big" show at the Blatt this year on the 3rd. I do not believe it is the same one that has done it for years ( Sorry can't think of the name). Why the change? $$$$$?? Will it be as good of a show?
For the record  NEBUGEATER does not equal BUGEATER    !!!!!!!

Was Grucci for years. This year it's apparently J&M Displays. No idea why they switched.
