Over the Edge
Come go "Over The Edge" with us, and raise funds for Scouting while you participate in a once in a lifetime experience! Rappel down the side of the Woodmen of the World tower in downtown Omaha! Get your Scoutmaster or Cubmaster to do it -- or go Over The Edge yourself!

WHAT: "Over the Edge" is a unique urban rappelling experience.
WHY: Proceeds benefit inner-city youth through the Boy Scouts Scoutreach program
WHEN: September 18, 2010 from 8 am to 5 pm; There will be a media reception on September 17, 2010
WHERE: Woodmen Tower
1700 Farnam Street, Omaha, NE
WHO: Open to anyone 14-years-old or older who weighs between 110 and 300 pounds and likes excitement!
COST: $1000 fee; NO REGISTRATIONS after September 15
Registration includes participant shirt and memento package.

No, no, no, and H3LL NO!!! I hate heights. In fact, I just pictured looking down over the edge of the Woodmen Tower on a rope and tinkled myself.

That would be awesome! But...not for $1000. For that I expect to rappel down the Empire State Building, or the Eiffel Tower.
