Was that church 1950's? 1960's? It must have built shortly before white flight took hold.

The church was built in the late 1950s and the gym (which is the windowless wall on the right of the picture) was added in the 1960's I believe. There was a parish school operating until the early 2000's is what I was told.

This looks like it is done/nearly done, I just saw it from 24th and Leavenworth. It looks nice enough, but it looks like it belongs on 120th instead of 24th. Kind of a standard suburban design.

I could very well be wrong, but I assume that it is suburban design because it's cheaper. After all, this is low income housing.

Same developer in front of the planning board for a Planned Unit Redevelopment on the lot directly east of this. I would assume another affordable apartment building.
