This has been rumored for a while. It is a little concerning that so many apartments DT are converting to condos.

The only negative I see is converting retail space into more condos. Don't these people know what's about to happen in terms of the swanson plant, holland, and other development right in their neighborhood.

I was pleased to see the price. 124,00 seems reasonable for a 600 sq ft condo in the middle of all that action.

I'm concerned that all these existing lofts are going condo as well. I love the idea of new condo construction, or converting vacant buildings into condos, but I don't like that downtown's large apartment base is starting to go condo. There has to be options.

Good grief...

If 20-somethings are supposed to live in DTO...and are mostly transient as we're early in our careers...and don't want to buy...

Where are we supposed to rent now? Beyond the Greenhouse and OM Lofts, there really aren't too many "nice" choices for renting downtown. I'd love to live downtown, but would rather not give up my raquetball court, tennis, volleyball, pool, spa, fireplace, and in-unit washer/dryer apartment (of which there are dozens of like-complexes out West.)

DTO really needs some more upscale APARTMENTS. Hopefully something will come out of the Butternut and Pinnacle sites that includes "nice" rentals...

Cornerstone Apts. and Images of Nature Building Apartments (1115 Harney Apts.).

I don't really mind this as I would like to see Lower Market (13th South of Old Market to Martha St.) turn into the 20 something artsy bohemian area. Now if developers would just start putting in more apartments there. There are even a few vacant lots on 13th st.
