Acadian Grille (725 N 114th St)

Post by bigredmed1 »

Went to a new restaurant tonight. Acadian Kitchen specializes in creole food. We had delicious food. Salmon dill salmon salad. Blood orange creme brûlée.

Nice folks, good food, fair prices. Locally owned non-franchise.

Sounds good. Is this in the Miracle Hills area?
I hope they have figured out their financing. Opening up a new “mom and pop” restaurant these days takes a lot more than great recipes and talented management. It takes a lot of patience and very deep pockets.

The new Acadian Kitchen, which went in where Voodoo Taco was, is worth a visit. Delicious food.

Been there twice now. Had the Salmon salad and then on the return trip, Jambalaya. Delicious. We also had Boudin balls on trip two. These were good.

Honestly, I like the current line up of stores there. The west side mall is fading away for reasons that remain obscure. About the only thing we could use is a bakery or some kind of place for a quick breakfast other than the Miracle Hills Cafe as it gets a bit old.

Betsie Freeman / World-Herald staff writer wrote:Acadian Grille took over the space occupied by Kith and Kin without a pause in business, said Tim Siragusa, general manager of the new restaurant. The original Acadian Grille is at 114th Street and West Dodge Road. Dan O’Brien owns both outlets. Kith and Kin owners Sam Fam Restaurant Group and Cutchall Management Co. are no longer associated with the location.
