Thank you so much! It actually was a stress reliever to be able to tweet about our own fire and listen to it on the scanner. Relatively speaking it was a minor fire and were displaced. But hey, we get a new bathroom out of it!!! 6 Fire trucks, Medic and 2 Battalion Chiefs plus an OPD officer. Amazed at and grateful to our Omaha Fire Department. And just a plug, Joe with Paul Davis Restoration has been a godsend!

It seems that when our contractor pulled the building permit for our fire repair (FINALLY), they got the correct address for the repairs, however someone transposed a couple of numbers and now a neighbor up the street is listed as the homeowner. Anyone have any idea if this can affect the repairs, like can the city cite us with a stop work order? And how can we get this corrected? I've called and the voicemail is full and also emailed and got a "we'll get back to you" form letter. Contractor is non-plussed

My email was promptly answered, within about 20 minutes and the information was corrected. That's an awesome response time!
