Just saw the former goalie, Curtis McElhinney will be starting game 3 for Carolina tonight against the Islander. He came in during game 2 to replace Mrazek who was injured, and stopped all 17 shots he faced.
Former Knight Mark Giordano is one of three finalists for the Norris Trophy (top defenseman in the NHL).

Mark Giordano, former Knight, just got taken from Calgary by the new Seattle Kraken in the expansion draft. He previously won a Norris trophy as best defenseman in the NHL.

I saw him taken by Seattle last night and immediately remembered him as a former Omaha Aksarben Knight.
