I think this got lost in all the excitement of the MofO tower yesterday, but they announced that the CWS is going to start on a Friday this year.
The worst part of the news is that general admission tickets are once again not available....all tickets will be reserved. I think this is one of the reasons this event was so special. I hope that they bring back GA seats next year.

Getting rid of general admission tickets really destroyed the outfield atmosphere which made the CWS special. I agree it probably won’t come back, pretty short sided decision by the powers that be.
