Anyway, Alcohol ban at NU events has been lifted.

Good, its not like it wasn't already very present outside the stadium. Plus, the angle of the 'morality' of it was bogus anyway. There's been alcohol in the club seating areas for years and years. If you give the university enough money you can do whatever you want.

The University of Nebraska Board of Regents voted Friday to end a longtime ban on booze sales and consumption at Husker sporting events — but there are caveats.

President Ted Carter told the board that any change related to alcohol at a particular NU campus first would need to be approved by the respective chancellor and then returned to the regents.

He called the vote to rescind a 1999 prohibition policy a “first step” and said it would bring consistency across the university system.
