I was going to guess the Heron Haven Nature Center, 120th and W Maple. (11809 Old Maple Rd, ) Good shots.

The Lilly Pads where I photographed the small birds probably covered an area of the lake the size of the entire Heron Haven.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing. Do you have any other shots of the unidentified bird? It looks to me like possibly a female or 1st year male Red-winged Blackbird.

Thanks! Its this one I am referring to. Mark Davis, former outdoors reporter from the OWH says he believes its also a redwing blackbird.
