A car ran off the road last year and hit the side of it. The owners patched the hole and called it good, but its such a strange (and condemned by the city) building.

There was a post on the neighborhood Facebook group pointing to this getting remodeled and becoming a residence/s.

That's probably the best use for that building these days. The new owner's mailing address traces back to TACK Architects in Benson, so its probably going to be cool when its done.

Does anyone know what is going on at the old gun shop on 60th & Pacific St? I just drive by and saw what looked like a special police unit in large truck. Standard police vehicle sitting there as plain clothes officers were taking items from the back of the building and placing them in a large device that reminded me of the top of a rocket ship; possibly an explosive containment device.

Its the registered owners address, so I am guessing if there was a different developer, they would own the property and use their own address? Tack has done a lot of cool projects. Everything from the Tri-Faith center to their own office building in Benson.

Wow - IF either of those could fit there it would be a terrible use of the space. Hopefully that's some sarcasm at its finest right there!

It's kind of funny, that lot is zoned GC, and the lots to the north and west are all R4. The lot is only 40' wide, but when you are GC next to R4, you need a 30' landscape buffer, only leaving you 10'.

I'm sure something will end up before the planning board before any construction starts.
