We just got back last night from Chimney Rock and Scottsbluff on our way back from Colorado. I am glad we stopped at both. I just wish we had more time to explore each. We also got lucky as they just opened some new trails at Chimney Rock last weekend.

We just got back last night from Chimney Rock and Scottsbluff on our way back from Colorado. I am glad we stopped at both. I just wish we had more time to explore each. We also got lucky as they just opened some new trails at Chimney Rock last weekend.

Even if you didn't have enough time, the most important part is probably driving to the top. We also wished that we had more time to hike around at the top.

It was quite windy for us at Chimney Rock and we decided to not pay the $8 - per person admission fee due to the weather and because we had been there before.

Thanrks for the kind words. We're back in Omaha now and planning to record the changes in downtown since the Fall 2021 video the transformation of downtown Omaha. On our list are the newly completed concert hall, the downtown library, the Luminarium, and the opeining of Heartland of America Park and Lewis and Clark Landing. I'm sure that our list is not complete and we are opening to suggestions.

It seems that going to the sandhills was the thing to do this summer. Regarding the Nebraska National Forest, this was my first time to visit that place. I'm not sure how it can recover as a pine forest.

I hope the state has plans to rebuild the fire tower, I was there about 10 years ago, very cool. I believe it's the only one in the state. This forest is unique in that it was hand planted. Even when I was there 10 years ago in the summer, I remember it looked very dry. The tower was a good attraction for the area, hope it can be saved.

I just went back and watched your video again...very nicely done. I like the view driving up Scottsbluff. (it is even better since we just were there on Monday) Like I mentioned before, definitely like to get back here and Chimney Rock to stroll around longer and take in the views and peacefulness.
