Im told a small restaurant chain from Iowa called 30hop is opening their first out of state location in the Heartwood preserve near the newly opened Charlestons location. It looks like they have three existing locations in Iowa.

Thank you! Not sure how I didn’t think to include that, I went straight to their social media and didn’t even check that. Not sure what you mean by hard to look at? The light fonts on white background?

The menu looks like there is a little something for everyone. It’s nice to see another small Midwest chain choosing to open up in Omaha.

This appears to be open now. People out on the balcony and there's a sign about live music.

Website says 12/6 grand opening, so this is likely some sort of soft opening / staff training session.

Google maps is correct. They have a soft launch open today without a public announcement to open slow and gear up for Dec. 6 but if you swing by today or tonight you’ll see them open.

Stopped in for their soft opening last night and it was a very pleasant experience. My sons got a burger and the kids chicken tenders. My youngest can usually put away some chicken so I was a little nervous ordering the two piece tenders and fries, but they were massive. He left completely full. My oldest really liked the burger, but couldn't finish it. Prices were a little higher than say the Taphouse, but the restaurant was very nice. Booth seats were comfortable and the noise level was not bad at all that we could have a conversation at our table easily. I love green tile and half of the place is adorned floor to ceiling with it.

Their beer selection is primarily local stuff (Iowa and Nebraska) and I have no problems with that. From Goliath to Code and others in between, I went with the Code Elmo IPA and loved it(never had it before). I hope they can source other local smaller breweries as well in the future. I'd be nice to get Bearded Brewer, Vis Major, or Monolithic on tap here. I doubt the first two do so though since that could take away traffic from their own locations.

As for my food, I got the pork tenderloin. It was really delicious with some different sauces on it and the actual tenderloin was thick and flavorful. Fries were nice too.

It definitely helps that this place is a 4 minute drive from my home and while it is a little pricey, I'll likely take advantage of their happy hour and other daily deals.
