How UNL Club Dodgeball continues to have success



LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The UNL Club Dodgeball Team is off to a 7-0 start during the 2023-2024 season. While many spectators think the game is a joke or unserious, the UNL team is fiercely competitive and nationally ranked. “Whenever people first hear. They think, you know, we’re just traveling around locally playing dodgeball for fun. When in reality, it’s 100% a competitive sport. I mean, people are blood, sweat, and tears are into this,” UNL Club Dodgeball President and Captain, Caleb Fowler, said. “And, I think once people go to practice and start practicing competitively, you know, you find people that are really competitive. Per the National Collegiate Dodgeball Association’s February Top 25 Power Rankings, the Huskers are 9th in country joining other Big Ten schools such as Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan State, and Penn State. “We believe that we’re a top four team in the country. We’re looking to go to Nationals and make the Final Four,” Fowler said.
