Sioux Falls to host 2025 Olympic team trials for men’s and women’s curling

The Sioux Falls Sports Authority announced Monday that Sioux Falls has been chosen to host the 2025 U.S. Olympic team trials for men’s and women’s curling and the U.S. Paralympic team trials for wheelchair mixed doubles curling.

The trials will take place at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center Nov. 7-16, 2025.

The trials will feature practice rounds, round-robin play, and a final playoff. The winners will represent Team USA at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, according to the Sioux Falls Sports Authority.

And we had a good, couple hour meeting, and I drove back and I begged for the next couple months to come here and just visit our city. Just come. Come see the venue, come see what Phillips Avenue is like, come get a sense of our community and they sure did.” Sioux Falls Sports Authority Executive Director Thomas Lee says. Part of selling Sioux Falls and the Premier Center also involved the Sioux Falls Sports Authority knowing the sport of curling themselves. Fortunately they had a good source in the Sioux Falls Curling Club.
