We put together some before and after pictures. I was quite surprised to see how Big Lake Park in Council Bluffs was completely submerged.

Nice update. When filming Big Lake, did you need to get any permission from Eppley to fly that close? I know you were off to the side of the flight line but some of those small planes on the private side of the airport turn tight circles when doing their pattern work.

Good question. I'm not able to fly a regular drone, but I can fly a min-drone if I stay east of I-29 and there is a strict height limit of 100 meters (around 310 fee). However, I limit myself to 150 feet in that area to avoid any problems.

Yes, if I am too close to an airport, the drones won't even take off. That's a good safety feature, especially for irresponsible drone owners.
