I was surprised Orsi's didn't already have its own thread.

I was pleased to see in Grow Omaha's Weekly Market Report email that they will be adding a dining area. The previous lack of a dining area has been what's kept me from going. I'm not one to eat in my car and the pizza would be the quality of leftovers by the time I got it all the way back to Gretna. So, it'll be nice to actually have a place to sit and eat while the pizza is hot and fresh.

Funny that this is happening now - my wife, kids and I just picked up a big pizza and some bread the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It's become a bit of a new tradition for us as her family's Italian and they make these special sandwiches with Orsi's bread on Thanksgiving morning.

In any case, I popped my head behind a sheet of black plastic while we were waiting and told my wife they had tables and seats over there - and I was thinking they might have HAD a dining area in the past. That's great to hear that it's actually a new addition!

We only make it down there about 1-2 times a year (we also live in Gretna). And although we love the pizza, I agree, the leftovers aren't that wonderful. However, I still eat them because we don't get it very often.

Good to see the dine in seating is finally open. They have been working on it for a while. I was down there a couple weeks ago and it sounded like they were waiting for the chairs at that time.

I've only purchased pizza and bread from there - I know they have a cooler with drinks you can buy. Do they have other hot food items you can buy like pasta, lasagna, or perhaps sandwiches, etc? Or is it only pizza? Their website shows pizza and garlic bread along with the deli meats, canned goods, etc.
