The Flock of Seagulls are having a show at the Steelhouse on June 7. I loved their music in the early 80's and although the lead singer is the only one still performing with the group, I had to buy tickets.
I saw Dethklok and Baby Metal there and had no problem with the view. If anything Dethklok literally had it turned up to 11 and I furthered my hearing loss when I forgot to bring ear plugs.

I really wanted to see Dethklok, but couldn't justify the price with Baby Metal along for the ride. Metalocalypse was a fantastic series.
Back several years ago, Lamb of God, Dethklok, and Gojira were supposed to play down at the MidAmerica Motorplex along I29 but then the whole Czech prison thing happened and the tour was canceled. That would have been an epic show.

I unironically like Baby Metal. The coolest thing I saw at that show was a bunch of young girls getting into it and if that brings more fans into the genre, I have no problem with them. I do like their instrumentals more than the singing though too.
I've seen Lamb of God and Gojira a few times as well. Gojira played with Mastodon just a few years ago and I missed that one, but I saw them both at Sokol in 2007.
