Here are some favorites from the Millard Days Parade. My wife and daighter were with me, so I wasn't able to wander around for good candids  . Oh well.
BTW, AlmostInOmaha: Since your moving into Chalco, this parade is located in right near your neighborhood!

My wife is a Millard South alum, and marched in the band too. I want my daughter to go to MS but if OPS takes over, we might not get the option to enroll her into Millard anymore. (We live in Sarpy County right next to Millard, and get the option to Enroll to Millard public schools. If OPS takes over we have to send Emily to Papillion Lavista many miles away.)

Well I'm sure happy to see that the Millard West tuba section is using real sousaphones, not fiberglass ones! Bradley, was this your 70-200?

Millard alum here from when it was just Millard High School. My daughter plays the flute in the Millard South band. If you had panned to the right a bit you would have caught her in the picture.

Yeah it was. For the record, I'm selling the 70-200mm F4L to buy a 70-200 F2.8 L IS. The F4 is a great sharp lens, but I need the speed of a 2.8 for Weddings.

I REALLY wanted to grab more pictures at River City RoundUp, but I will be in Florida that week. I enjoy watching and photographing marching bands, so I migh have more pictures later. I'll keep an eye out for the MS Flute Players.

The 2.8L IS is a thing of beauty. I use that at work often. I'd like to buy your lens myself but I have to save up for my own 20D. My first wedding is in Nov!

Once the 5D comes out, a lot of semi-pros will be dropping the 20D for the full frame upgrade. I plan on getting another 20D (used) for a back-up camera. The new 5D is going to be released in Octoberish I think?

Oh how I long for the F2.8 L IS

That is a pretty good price, Buydig.com has the Kit for $1302.00. More expensive, but Dell is notorius for supper slow shipping with photography equipment. If you can afford to wait, I would snag that price. If you need lenses, 17photo.com has the best prices, I have ordered plenty from them!
