As mentioned somewhere on here, if they ever build a new post office, the current one is gonna be hot property, especially with the views from there.

I love the view from the post office. It shows off major density from the south and showcases lots of buildings that don't stick out in the skyline that much.

Most of that neighborhood should be bulldozed and turned into buildings like those three (with paint, of course). Heck, a good tornado might solve most of the problem. The location and topography of the area south of Leavenworth, east of 9th and north of the gardens is just SCREAMING for a really, truly dense east-coast late 19th century pedestrian neighborhood.
Anyone with two- or three-hundred million interested in funding this? ;)
