
At the front was an old Rio Grande locomotive, painted in the SPSF post-takeover scheme of '84

Then we watched as a crew put in a New York Central SD70MAC. This train must be heading back east - you don't see these in Colorado often!


The old Rock Island loco was cool, too.

But what really caught my eye was an Omaha Terminal boxcar! Wonder what it was doing out here?


I like the looks of this SPSF 60' hi-cube boxcar.

For those who may not know, the Omaha Terminal RR is a relatively new railroad, just started earlier this year, and I will keep my eye out for more freight cars in Denver. Here is a map:
