Kind of a late post but anybody else go see Al? He was awesome. What was curious about his show though was that he kept refering to Omaha and Council Bluffs as one in the same. Kind of reinforces the whole metro area thing.

It seems to be a theme among artists performing in CB. When I saw Slipknot at the MAC they even said they know the arena is in CB but that this was the 'Omaha' show. They too kept saying Omaha-Council Bluffs.

Not to be against metro unity but I don't know why CB tries to interject it's name so much. They are the next biggest city in the metro but they aren't anywhere close to size as Omaha. They aren't much bigger than Bellevue. When Bellevue surpasses CB are we going to call it Omaha-Bellevue?

Minneapolis and St. Paul are close to the same size. Ft. Worth is less than have of Dallas but it's still over 500,000 people. They probably do deserve some sort of mention. I don't see it as the same for CB. It's just a little peeve of mine.

I don't mind.

It probably has more to do with it being in another state than anything else.
