Fleming's Steakhouse to open in Regency

Post by TeeJayNE »

I don't believe it's been mentioned yet on this site...Fleming's Steakhouse is opening up a restaurant in Regency Place Mall. I will be working there as a server trainer. It is located right across from Borsheim's southwest entrance. Known for their over 100 wines by the glass, Fleming's classifies itself as a prime steakhouse and wine bar. It's definitely an elegant, upper class steakhouse with features such as Discovery Dinners where meals are complimented with fitting wines and Discovery Flights were the entire meals is incorporated to match a certain wine (i.e. merlot, chardonnay). I am excited for the opening and I'm sure many other residents of west Omaha are also. It's great to see an upper class steakhouse find a home in west Omaha. If you would like to check it out for yourself go to http://www.flemingssteakhouse.com

I think most of us here are aware of it... it has been brought up both here and at the chamber forum.

You're right though... it will be yet another very nice upscale restaurant for the metro... and will certainly further help Regency Court.

By the way... it's across from the southwest entrance where Topps and the new Paradise Bakery & Cafe are... Borsheim's is on the northeast corner.

Yes, Borsheim's is in the northeast corner of the mall itself. However, I was referring to the actual entrance of Brosheim's. Fleming's Steakhouse is located across from the southwest entrance of Borsheim's.

Well not to nitpick here... but the southEAST entrance of Borsheim's is inside Regency Court... across from Pottery Barn's inside entrance. The closest entrance across from the Fleming's restaurant out parcel... is the main mall entrance on the southEAST side... which is closest to the new Paradise Cafe and Topp's (what is this?... a womens clothing store or something?)

Here's the entrance closest to the new Fleming's... of course the Paradise Bakery has been added since. Fleming's is under construction to the right of this picture... right up against Regency Parkway.

This restaurant chain is definately expanding. They are building one at Jordan Creek Town Center in WDM which is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2005.

Longtime sous chef steps up at Fleming's

NICHOLE AKSAMIT WORLD-HERALD STAFF WRITER wrote:Joe Gerardi, chef partner at Fleming's Steakhouse and Wine Bar since 2004, left the Omaha restaurant earlier this month to open a new Fleming's in Houston.

Not to worry, said Jared Moss, operating partner and manager at the Omaha Fleming's.

Seth Jonas, Gerardi's longtime sous chef, has succeeded him as chef partner.

Moss said the kitchen is in good hands and no major menu changes are planned.
Tuna, I hope you don't care, I made a new one:
