This is a city that doesn’t rest on its laurels. Just last week it was announced that a 24,000-seat ballpark would be built downtown as part of a 25-year deal to keep the College World Series.
What a great article. Of course they're going to point out KC ties. An OWH article would have done the same thing. Plus, I think the author was trying to drive home almost an idea of "we've got KC developers/entrepreneurs going up to do projects in Omaha."
I had to laugh a little, though, that they gave a low metro population to Omaha, and rounded their own up to 2 million. :)
