Not sure it could even be called arguing, just complaining. Someone had to participate or at least listen for that to be called arguing :;): . He would go toward a ref and they would just walk away.

Coyote are you talking about the game that went on and on because they called every ticky tack foul they could on both teams?

How the heck did Creighton lose to Arkansas-LR? That is a really frustrating loss early in the year but hopefully the Jays can turn things around. One has to wonder if they were possibly overlooking this game in anticipation to the Nebraska game saturday.

Creighton was out rebounded by 20 --- it is hard to win games when you are out rebounded that badly.

Every year there is 1 game on the schedule that should be a win, but for some reason I mark it down as a loss before. Last year that game was @ Indiana State. The year before that it was @ Nebraska. This year, it was @ Arkansas-Little Rock.

So didnt catch the game just the box score. At half it was 31-18 Creighton -- 2nd half it was 36-21 Nebraska.
Nebraska wins 54-52

Where was P'Allen? He isn't listed in box score.

I heard he and coach have been having some issues. It sounds like P thinks he is the team, and coach was trying to send him a message that this team will move on with or without him. Good move by coach in my opinion.

Tough game tonight, but its hard to win when you turn the ball over 20+ times and go several minutes without a FG. Great bluejay turnout at the Bob, and very loud at times. Too bad we had to quietly nod at each other rather than high 5 as we left.

Oh well, I was lucky enough to see the Jays move on to the elite 8 in soccer today, so today wasn't all bad. :D

Stinnett sits; he's 'clueless' about status

http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_page=1 ... d=10501754
STEVEN PIVOVAR WORLD-HERALD STAFF WRITER wrote:LINCOLN — Creighton coach Dana Altman did nothing Saturday night to clear up the cloudy status of star guard P'Allen Stinnett.

This much is known: Stinnett did not play in the Bluejays' 54-52 loss to Nebraska. Asked whether it was because of injury or discipline, Altman replied, "Coach's decision."

"We'll figure that out when we get back," Altman said, "but right now that's just between 'P' and myself."
The young man might want to get a clue.

Stinnett will play Tuesday against Mississippi Valley State

http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_page=3 ... d=10502810
STEVEN PIVOVAR WORLD-HERALD STAFF WRITER wrote:Creighton expects to have guard P'Allen Stinnett back on the floor for tonight's game against Mississippi Valley State.

Stinnett was held out of Saturday's loss to Nebraska because of what Dana Altman said was a "coach's decision." Altman said after Monday's practice that Stinnett will play in tonight's 7:05 game at Qwest Center Omaha.

Asked if Stinnett would start, Altman replied, "Haven't decided yet." Asked what he expects from the 6-foot-3 Stinnett, Altman said: "Same thing we're looking for from all our players."

Stinnett started the first three games before coming off the bench in last week's loss at Arkansas-Little Rock. Against the Huskers, the guard never got off the bench. Altman again declined Monday to discuss the reason why the 13.0-point-per-game scorer didn't play, saying it was between Stinnett and him.

Decent game by CU over an over matched team this evening. P'Allen came off the bench and was a different person. Played excellent defense. Hopefully he learned his lesson. Still too many turn overs - but they got 31 pts off of MVS's turnovers. They did better in the rebounding department. Korver started for the first time in P'Allen's place. Again the loudest they crowd got was when Sitzmann made his 3-pointer. At St. Joes next. We need a road win bad.

Brad should be posting pictures soon. We had interesting seats for this game.

Sorry, I have been busy. I have photo from NY, Boston and DC in September that I haven't posted yet, CU photos, UNO photos, Big 12 Championship Football photos... However, I am planning on staying home the next 2 nights and working on them.

Did I hear Travis mention that the Jays have never lost to an undefeated team at the Qwest Center?

That's pretty impressive, even taking in to consideration they're not playing Duke in January or anything.

I never hear that, and I don't have the memory to remember that many games. May be Coyote can pull up his super computer and find out.

The stat I heard yesterday that is not as impressive. Creighton has never lost at the Qwest Center on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (22 games).

Doing the research backyards - here are Creighton's home losses since they started playing at the Qwest:

2003 -2004
Sat, Feb 07 Southern Illinois 60-61
Tue, Mar 16 Nebraska (NIT) 70-71

2004-2005
Tue, Dec 07 Kent State 58-67
Sat, Dec 18 Wyoming 64-68
Sun, Jan 09 Southern Illinois 63-69
Sat, Jan 22 Illinois State 77-82 (OT)
Sat, Feb 05 Missouri State 71-79

2005-2006
Sat, Feb 11 Southern Illinois 67-74
Mon, Mar 20 Miami (Fla.) (NIT) 52-53

2006-2007
Sat, Jan 20 Southern Illinois 57-58
Sat, Feb 17 Drexel 58-64

2007-2008
Sat, Dec 29 Illinois State 67-80

2008-2009
-- --------------------------

None of these teams Creighton lost to were undefeated so I guess the answer would be yes, Creighton has never lost to an undefeated team at the Qwest.

I just checked, going back, the last time CU lost at home to an undefeated team was Dec 6, 1995 to a 6-0 Nebraska.

A. I saw you but you were walking the other way.
B. The crowd was really spread out tonight.
C. They looked good when they had to. I agree with Travis, this team plays up to their opponent, which could be a bad thing later on.

They were fortunate enough to make 18-19 FTs to Depaul's 15-25 given the fact that out of their 59 FTs they shot 29 3's.

Unbelievable crowd tonight, there were actually 17,954 people there, non of this announced and actual |expletive|, the number was right tonight. Im hoping that if the team continues this hot streak there might be a way to get 18,000 people in there for one game. I know it seems unlikely but they got 11,000 into the civic in the 70s they can get 18,000 in the Q.

17,954 on a sunday night, unbelievable.

New State Record by the way.

It was a large crowd, full up to the top in the corners. One change they made today is that they really reduced the size of the student section. Smart move since school was out for the holiday.

While it was the largest crowd ever.... I was not even close to the loudest, however there was not a lot to cheer about.

Largest Crowd and the first time I did not bring a camera!?!?!

At least they have a few days off to regroup before returning home this week to play Northern Iowa.
