Starting - what - 0 for 11 on 3's? While they go 60%! CU was lucky they were tired at the end and went for a game winning 3 pointer instead of going to what worked and going into OT.

They are alerting Creighton basketball fans of several unique traffic and parking challenges with tonight's NIT game against Kentucky. Fans are being encouraged to travel downtown a bit earlier than normal to ensure they are in their seats for tipoff.

Besides the Traffic, the game is now "officially" sold out.

Why don't they just do that now and not everyone try going down Cuming St. to get the arena.

I've always thought that was incredibly stupid to funnel everyone off of 480 onto Cuming St.

There is more than one way to get to the Qwest Center instead of sitting stuck on Cuming or 10th St.

That's what I said. However I usually get there 30 to 45 min early so I don't have to worry anyway. Tonight we are getting there at 5pm.

OWH: "Everyone go this way and make Brad and Coyote Late!"
OWH wrote:Qwest officials and Omaha police are asking basketball fans to use one of the following exits off of Interstate 480:

• Leavenworth Street

• Harney Street

• 20th Street

• 14th Street

Fans who take one of those exits can get to a Qwest Center parking lot by driving north on 17th, 16th, 13th or 12th streets or by driving east on Capitol Avenue and then north on 10th Street.
I predict no one does this because of the weather and will all try to park right by the door. The OWH will run a story tomorrow about the massive traffic jam and how people didn't get to their seats until there were 5 mins left in the game.

If I am late, there is more than traffic in the way... I plan on being there by 5pm.

Why, are you implying that citizens of our city don't know that there is more than 1 exit available to get to the Qwest center and would follow road signs labeled "Qwest Center" like lemmings from the burbs, er, out of towners?

BTW, I can miss free throws all night, too. Give me a scholarship to Creighton.

Going purely off of that "skill," you could have played for Memphis last year in the National Championship game!
