Not to steal your thunder, but let me save you the trouble Brad. Of course if you want to post some more PICS, its always appreciated.

I will get some more. I wish the OWH would do a Photo feature with a lot of stories. This one pic does nothing because they didn't even get the stadium in there!

Oh, I'll take Brad's update pics over what the OWH featured any day! Looking forward to the pics, Brad.

In the OHW's defense, they are sort of out a photographer at the current moment...

It was more a compliment to Brad than a jab at the OWH. What happened to that photographer again? :;):

Cool, thanks for the update shot. The sign looks pretty good.

Side note, that new building on the corner seemingly popped up since I visited at Thanksgiving. Nice how that intersection had zilch just a few years ago, now something on all four corners. :)

That is cool to see that intersection develop so fast. I also love the fact that you can see both Riverfront condo towers as you look down the street pass the stadium.

Drove by yesterday it looks pretty good but has a little too much of a corporate feel and not enough of a ballpark. When is the way upperdeck seating going to be put in?

Thanks for the update Brad. You know what's crazy? Nothing in these pictures was there what, three years ago? Ballpark, hotels, even Riverfront Place in the background.

Great photos, Brad! I love the one from the roof of Urban Outfitters! How'd you get up there?

As of this evening they had yet to put up 'TD' on the sign.

The only thing harder to believe is your office is 6ish blocks away and you can't lean out your |expletive| window to take a |expletive| picture.

Please stop questioning why people think your newspaper sucks |expletive| holes.

And yes, I want a time out. Almost as bad as Lee Barfknecht.

Nice, thanks for the update Tuna.

One nit pick of mine though, what's with adding Omaha at the end of everything? Qwest Center Omaha. TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. People don't know what city they are in? Planning on opening 3 or 4 TD Ameritrade Parks? Dumb.

Anyways, TD is looking great. I'm coming back this summer for a weekend of CWS for sure.

I am sure its a marketing deal. Say you are a Fan of Denver University and you are looking at their hockey schedule... next week it will say "Qwest Center Omaha". I don't really mind it. As you can see from the relatively small size of the font, its not like they are trying to push it to people that are already here.

Omaha is a brand just like Mazda or KFC is a brand. To manipulate or maintain a perception of your product, you must have brand equity. Brand equity is something Omaha has historically failed in, and still are. I think they are starting to get it and by branding their projects with Omaha in the name, shows it's at least taking some level of pride in itself.

Another good example: Kenefick Park's "Welcome to Omaha" monument.

The big winner: Texas. Texas has always done an absolutely awesome job with marketing themselves and other states and cities have definitely taken note.

They should have the south-facing TD up by then. Looks like there's enough letters for at least one more sign - my bet is on the east light tower.

I guess that makes sense from a tv prospective. "Live from TD Ameritrade Park Omaha".

Cool update shots.
