Thank you sir. May I have another? Drew Brees got the Saints to the Playoffs and then did not show up. The Saints barely got by the lowly wildcard team Eagles and then lost to the Rams. You kinda had to wonder while you were sitting there watching those games if this was a sign of Brees being 40 and running low on gas. I hope he comes back and has a great year but the age is showing.

How is the older brother Stanley doing, though?

Shame he's stuck with the Bengals for now. I'm sure the Patriots were/would have/still could at some point give him a strong look, seeing as they needed receivers and his father is a Patriots legend.

Excuse me. I hope I'm not the only one that thought that they were father/son.

I guess Stanley Morgan would have been pretty old to have had Stanley Morgan jr.

Anyway, it would be a cool story if our Stanley Morgan could have a comparable career.

Maher also became the first NFL kicker to make 3 field goals over 60 yards.

I think that makes two weeks in a row (or close to it) that he's made a 63 yarder.

Interesting how a couple of years can change things. OWH had a good article on Stanley Morgan this week

Stanley Morgan reinvented himself. Now the former Husker is 'everybody's favorite' Bengal

“Stanley is everybody’s favorite player on the team,” Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow said earlier this season. “He doesn’t get any love from (media) and from across the country because nobody sees what he does. … Stanley is one of the core players on this team. I don’t know what kind of team we are without Stan.”

Said Bengals special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons: “I’ve been around a lot of guys in this league who have started at the bottom and worked their way up. Stanley is the next one.”
