What a game...great comeback to finish the game. I am not used to seeing that from Creighton. Usually that game is going to OT or Creighton loses. This is the first game winner they have hit at home since 2014 when Doug did it to St. Johns.

Boy the Jays took a mighty tumble in the AP Poll this week..

They went 1-1 last week. One tough/close conference road loss to Georgetown..followed by a tough/close conference home win against Providence..

And the Jays dropped from #25 to #39? .. A little rough “me thinks”...

Yeah that is BS...although the rankings don't mean much, especially at this time of year. They are #33 in the NET rankings currently.

I keep complaining about it, but the Big 10 is so over rated. I have no idea why Iowa is ranked #19. Sure they beat Maryland and Michigan, but both of those wins were at home. But, they also lost badly @ home to DePaul and also lost to Nebraska and Penn St on the road, with those last two, especially the NE game being a huge loss.

Creighton on the other hand, has lost 5 games as well but the worst loss the Georgetown loss, which isn't really that bad. Creighton has beat Marquette and Oklahoma @ home and also @ Xavier.

I just don't think the Big East gets the respect that they deserve. As an example, Ohio St has lost 5 of their last 6 with the only win being against Nebraska and somehow they are still ranked ahead of Creighton.

Big East: 100-25 (80%)
Big 12: 89-28 (76%)
Pac 12: 112-39 (74%)
ACC: 119-41 (74%)
Big 10: 111-39 (74%)

Creighton is a 1 1/2 point underdog at DePaul tonight. I don't know really, but Creighton has been off lately and DePaul is playing at home. I would bet on DePaul.

I wouldn't really say that Creighton is off lately. Yes, the loss @ Georgetown wasn't ideal, but it was only a 3 pt loss on the road. The other losses were @ Butler and vs Nova. None of those are bad losses.

If anything Tyshon has been off lately but picked it up against Providence. And Zegarowski had the flu for that game, so hopefully that is out of his system.

DePaul does look much improved this year, but it is still DePaul and they haven't consistently won in the Big East in a long time.

Creighton is beating down DePaul by 20 points late in the game. I can't figure out Creighton no more then I can Nebraska. It does look like Creighton could go on to win a game or two in the big dance.

Nice (huge really) conference road win for Creighton tonight. DePaul is a much improved team. But the Jays simply outplayed and out-hustled the Blue Demons when it counted In the 2nd half...

Great win for the Jays. As I mentioned, this is a DePaul team that killed Iowa earlier this year in Iowa City and also has wins over Texas Tech and Butler.

The Jays are currently 3rd in the conference.

Would definitely help with big man depth, but even a greater question.....can you imagine if Justin Patton were still here? This team would be even better than Patton's freshman season with a stellar rim protector and big man that could also step out and hit shots.

Would Patton be a senior this year, or would his eligibility be already done last year? I can't remember. Him, Krampelj together with the snipers of Ballock and Zegarowski, my goodness what a team that would be...

Big game for the Creighton downtown today at 3pm against Xavier. The Jays going for the season sweep. I believe today is also the “Pink Out” game..

For CU to start to turn that corner we’re all waiting to see, they need to close out and win a game like this. We know a team like Villanova would.. Let’s defend home court!...

Great win. Outside of a few games, they've been playing a very tough style even with the "Let it Fly". Good to see them get to 15 wins prior to Feb as the next stretch of games will be very, very difficult.

Great win...the pink out game is always an amazing time, especially having to watch my 3 year old son battle cancer. This game and team didn't disappoint. Glad to see the support the community and City of Omaha have for Creighton.

They now have off until next Saturday @ Nova. That would be great if they could somehow squeeze out a victory in Philly.

I know it doesn't matter much, especially at this time of the year, but I am so sick of the Big 10 getting so much publicity. After watching the Iowa/Wisconsin game tonight, I am glad that I am a Big East fan. The Big 10 is ugly. Iowa shot 3-20 from 3 and that is with making 2 late in the game. Also, the officiating is out of control. They do so many instant replays to review fouls, which is ridiculous and shouldn't be allowed. It slows the pace of the game and takes away so much.

If Creighton can pull off a win this Saturday morning/afternoon in Philadelphia, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Jays vault solidly into the top 15 in both polls...
