Creighton being ranked still just made my day. It took until the season is a month from being over, but the Big East is finally getting some recognition with 5 teams being ranked.

I wonder about Marquette at 18 as well. I mean they have won 6 of 7 but all except for Butler was against the bottom feeders of the Big East.

It’s good to see the Jays didn’t drop out of the top 25 in either poll..It would have been ridiculous if they had..

Huge road test vs Seton Hall Wednesday.. CU wins that, and they are front and center contenders for the Big East regular season championship...

Seton Hall poses a horrible matchup to the Jays on paper (albeit they probably do for a lot of teams), so I would be shocked if they came away with the win away from home. If this was at home, I'd be a bit more optimistic.

But, that's why they play the game I suppose. Just hope that if they lose, they rebound as it's do or die time for tourney seeding.

This will be a tough test no doubt. I would be happy to not have the Jays blown out and at least stay competitive in the game. Seton Hall really hasn't blown anyone out....they have won most of their games by 5-7 points lately.

I think Creighton has a chance..

Now if they play as they did the 2nd half at Providence, they’ll get blown out by double digits..

I’d like to think that’s about as bad as the Jays could play. I’d be surprised if they were not at least competitive against Seton Hall for a full 40 minutes.. We’ll see...

Jays up 2 at the half....as usual in Big East road games (or Creighton games for that matter) officiating is horrendous. Jays have 11 fouls, with many of them near the half court line. Seton Hall is all over the Jays and only has 6 fouls.

Great game by the Jays. As a Husker fan, I watched it all tonight. (Got to watch someone win once in a while!) With somewhat impartial eyes I didn't see the officiating that bad.

If they can stay healthy this team can be dangerous in March.

Now win Saturday at home vs DePaul..and if this Jays team is not ranked within the top 15, in both polls, there is something amiss in this world...

Great win by the Jays. Definitely another "team" win. Everyone contributed except for Mitch Ballock. He was held scoreless. 4 guys finished with 18 pts each and yet another with 11 pts. Name another team in the nation that has done that this year.

Damien Jefferson was huge with his tip steal and diving on the floor to throw the ball up into Zegarowski's hands for a layup. That was the play of the game right there.

Hopefully the Jays can stay focused today. There is going to be another huge crowd there with the nice weather and the 6:30 start time. Maybe this game will be more exciting than the last St. Johns home game.

I hope this is a boring game because the Jays will be up by 40, I don't want exciting! Haha.

Always trepidation though since the Jays need to follow up a big win with another win against a sneaky opponent. Glad this one is at home though.

Great blow out win for the Jays tonight..

CU took this game from the jump. Ty-Shon had a 1st team All Big East performance..17 steals for the Jays. Great defense..

If CU is not ranked within the top 15 in both polls, I’ve said it before, there is something wrong in college basketball land...

What a stretch the Jays played to open the 2nd half. They were already up 14 at the break, and then went on a 18-3 run. That was one of the most exciting 4 min of Bluejay basketball that I have witnessed since I have had my season tickets 15 years ago. This team is playing with so much confidence right now. Hope they keep it going.

I also think that they should be ranked in the Top 15 when the polls come out Monday.

Creighton just needs to keep this momentum going. Tomorrow night is another huge road test...
