Looks like some Huskers are jumping ship- https://huskers.com/news/2021/3/15/mens ... pdate.aspx
Best of luck to you boys not going to lie and say were going to miss you. They are no good to us and Nebraska sure is not good for them. I wish them luck. We played a long shot and gambled that 17yr old 6 ft 8in Ouedraogo would grow into something and it did not pan out. He looked awful last year but he was only 17-18 so you hoped he would get better. He did not get any better and even looked worse. I thought at the start of the season he was the clear weakest link and a liability to have out on the court. I think Hoiberg diminished Ouedraogo's role as this season went on and that led to this transfer. I'm quite sure both sides are happy to see this transfer!

Yeah I tend to agree with you here, but in less harsh terms.GrandpaaSmucker wrote: Mon Mar 15, 2021 7:03 pm Looks like some Huskers are jumping ship- https://huskers.com/news/2021/3/15/mens ... pdate.aspx

These are players that are looking at small if any roles going forward with what we hopefully have returning plus the new guys coming in.

Good article on Big 10 basketball. They definitely got the respect from the committee, getting 2 #1 seeds and 2 #2's. Although I was a bit surprised Michigan still got a 1 with Livers injury (I don't see them making the Final Four).

Did not expect to see Dalano Banton taken 46th in the NBA draft. And by the Raptors, who passed over Jalen Suggs at #4.

Wow, I missed that. Very cool! Thanks for posting. Looks like Banton made the right choice.Original wrote: Fri Jul 30, 2021 9:44 am Did not expect to see Dalano Banton taken 46th in the NBA draft. And by the Raptors, who passed over Jalen Suggs at #4.

South Dakota State BB just went unbeaten in the Summit games and won the Summit Tournament and won their ‘Ticket to the Dance’. Charlie Easley, has been starting most of the season.

I saw in NCAA that Teddy Allen had 37 pts in leading NM State passed UConn. It looks like he has had a good year at NM State.ita wrote: Mon Mar 01, 2021 10:57 am Teddy Allen leaves Husker men's hoops team

The Nebraska men's basketball team announced Monday morning that leading scorer Teddy Allen is leaving the program.
Allen will stay at Nebraska through the spring semester to work toward graduation, but will no longer be with the team he said, as he prepares for his future in basketball.

2022 WAC Tournament Most Valuable Player
2022 WAC Newcomer of the Year
2022 All-WAC First Team

Tough loss for the Nebraska women. Gonzaga really pulled ahead at the end and the Huskers' youth and lack of experience showed.
Bright future for us though!
