Wasn’t the original downtown tower rumor Fiserv building on the UP lot? Maybe since the city now owns the UP lot they are still trying to work something out for Fisev to build there.
Fiserv was going to the library site in a tower up to 20 stories and Mutual was going to the 1416 Dodge site. Once the Fiserv deal fell apart, the land swap happened.
Someone at NAI NO Dodge told me a little while ago that there is still some whisper that Fiserv may look downtown in the coming years.

Maybe the lot just east of the MoO building?I believe the height limits and the size of the lot would get their needs met...

Mutual owns that lot now and they won’t let go of that for a long time. They want to make sure they have room to expand if necessary.
Here's another point I just thought about. The mayor said that the presentation was to Fiserv and Conagra. Maybe Fiserv is considering a move to the Mercantile. Unfortunately, we know Hines is not considering a high rise office building; the T3 rendering is at best 7 stories, but it would be a massive anchor for that development and could help them land the rumored high rise hotel.
Fiserv is pursuing a regional HQ or operations center in Overland Park Kansas at the T Mobile HQ complex. Not sure if any Omaha impacts yet but this will involve job relocations from somewhere per the city council meeting last night.

At least 2,000 jobs averaging $125,000 annual salary. Site selection consultant said the process lasted around a year.
Fiserv also looked at Nashville, Phoenix, Texas, Miami.

Interesting. I just put a bug in my husband's ear to keep his eyes and ears open for any word on this news.
I will say this news of a regional hub for Fiserv in KC is a little annoying. They had no presence whatsoever there. Are they thinking Omaha people are more likely to relocate given it's proximity.
Shoot for the Moon... if you miss, you'll land among the stars.
So, I asked my husband and they are not planning on moving any of Omaha employees to KC. In actuality, Fiserv might be moving their offices out of the T-Mobile HQ building Complex (evidently, they don't have a standard lease agreement nor own the building) and the KC Chiefs are looking to place their Admin/HQ there, basically kicking them out.
So to clarify because I haven’t put 2+2 together until now, is this what they now call the Aspiria campus? If so, rumor is this is royals leading candidate to build their new stadium at, hadn’t heard anything about the chiefs building anything there though. If this is all the case maybe Fiserv would push employees back to Omaha and build a tower downtown like they had once apparently planned to!

Nope, just taking over the current building to move in their Offices (Admin & Peeps). The area is called the Aspiria Campus, but it's not for the New Stadium. I would assume, if they DID move their Offices to where Fiserv is currently, then that would make sense for the Stadium to be Built in Overland Park somewhere as they would be closer.
Sounds like Fiserv is selling their buildings in A/V, Old Mill and Lincoln and then leasing them back for 20 years so probably not going anywhere new in town.

Sounds like a straightforward way to get out of commercial real estate investing.

The Royals have confirmed that they are no longer considering the Aspiria Campus for their new stadium.

Is WSP the latest?
Yes and it seems like East Village might be in play as well.
